1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SONGBOY website or the SONGBOY game/software, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Use License

Aria Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use the SONGBOY software in accordance with these terms. The restrictions below apply to the software itself (the product SONGBOY), not to the music or other content you create with it.

Your creations. The music and other works you create using SONGBOY are yours. You may sell, license, market, distribute, or otherwise use and profit from your creations in any way you choose—the same as if you had created them in any other tool (e.g., a DAW or other music software). Aria Labs does not restrict how you use or monetize the content you make with SONGBOY.

Restrictions on the software. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute the SONGBOY software or its materials
Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the SONGBOY software itself without permission
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the software
Use the service in any way that violates applicable law or these terms

3. Account Linking and Third-Party Services

Our services may support linking with third-party accounts:

Steam: You may sign in with Steam to access profile statistics and other features. Use of Steam is subject to Valve’s terms and policies.
Discord: You may optionally link your Discord account to enable Discord-related features. Linking is voluntary and can be managed or removed by contacting us.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your accounts. Do not share credentials or linking tokens with others.

4. User-Created Content and Ownership

When you create content (including music and other works) using SONGBOY:

You own your creations. All content you create using SONGBOY is your property, including intellectual property rights. Aria Labs does not claim ownership of your work.
License to Aria Labs. By creating and sharing content through our software, you grant Aria Labs a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content for the promotion and demonstration of SONGBOY (e.g., on the website, in marketing, or in other materials). This license does not transfer ownership to Aria Labs.
You represent that you have the right to create and share such content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our services:

For any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law
To infringe intellectual property or other rights of Aria Labs or others
To harass, abuse, defame, or harm others
To submit false or misleading information
To transmit malware or interfere with the security or operation of the service
To scrape, automate access, or use the service in ways not intended by Aria Labs

6. Privacy

Your use of SONGBOY is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Disclaimer

SONGBOY and the SONGBOY website are provided "as is." Aria Labs disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aria Labs and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of our services. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Our website may link to third-party sites (e.g., Steam, Discord, social media). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites. Use of linked sites is at your own risk.
